IPVM (C40)
The CompactRIO module “Intelligent Parallel Voltage Measurement” (C40) developed by CGS is a voltage measurement module. It is capable of measuring voltages with 8 channels in synchronous and parallel upto maximum of 60V. The measurements can be done in two modes: Buffer mode and Continuous mode. The channels can be customized on request by the customer for different voltage ranges.
The computing power for the complex programming routine and SENT/PWM decoding is provided by an FPGA installed in the module. The FPGA of the CompactRIO chassis is only used for communication with the CGS module. This allows up to 8 intelligent modules per chassis to be operated.
