The LB303 test system is the largest version of the LB-300 series. It is designed for development as well as for production.

The test system features the durable G12 receiver from the Virginia Panel Cooperation for the adapter interface. The LB303 is equipped with a power supply of max. 6 kW and can control up to 2 load boxes (in an external rack).

The E-load can be easily upgraded due to its modular concept. If not ordered otherwise, a 300W and a 600W module are installed as standard. It is possible to interconnect every output of the DUT inside the system using a special High-Current (HC) bus and Low-Current (LC) bus. This feature is, like all others, included on all LB-300 series test systems. Voltage and current can be measured on every pin with a multiplexed DMM or using a shunt switched in-between.

The keyboard drawer is made out of hard anodized aluminum and is equipped with an integrated USB hub and a Cherry keyboard with touch-pad. It is mounted under the VPC G12 receiver. The system is pin- and software compatible with the LB302. However, it provides more I/Os to be able to test larger DUTs.

The LB 300 system has been developed for the automotive comfort area. The fully equipped version is optimal to be used as a development tester and a basic version is available for production (End-Of-Line-Tester). During the development, great importance was placed on designing the system to be flexible and cost-saving. All BCM’s (Body Control Module) available in the automotive comfort area can be tested with the LB300 system.

When changing to a new module, only the load box (original and substitute loads), the adapter to the module (wire harness or cassette), as well as the test software must be changed. Everything else remains the same.

Thus approximately 80% of the total cost of the system can be saved.
