ISCM Infineon TLE4973 (C24)

The CompactRIO module ā€œIntelligent Sensor Calibration Moduleā€ (C24) developed by CGS can program and calibrate up to 3 Infineon TLE4973 sensors. In addition, the module can also read the data via the analog lines for up to 3 channels in parallel. This is also possible if the sensors output their data via different protocols, or if 1 channel is in programming mode and the other is in Analog mode. e.g. sensor channel 1 performs programming and sensor 2 performs ANALOG decoding as far as the sensor supply lines are separate for each sensor.

The computing power for the complex programming routine is provided by an FPGA built into the module. The FPGA of the CompactRIO chassis is only used for communication with the CGS module. Thus, up to 8 intelligent modules can be operated per chassis. The module is available for calibration of different sensors from several manufacturers. A list of supported sensors, e.g. from Infineon, will be sent on request. The sensors are powered by the module from an external power supply (10-36 V, not included).
